The good moments, that could be ours, went into fears.

I enjoyed water like any fish when I was kid. Then had many family outings just to splash water in near by rivers. I loved swimming as I loved to be in water for hours. How excited I used to be during summers.

When I got married, During my first trip to Andaman and Nicobar, I went for diving with my husband to explore corals and had a wonderful and very colorful underwater experience.

Mine another trips for rishikesh river rafting was not less than a bliss. Feeling those Ganga river magical current was the experience to cherish for life.

In Malaysia visit, I got crazy for being in water. As Lankawi has some of the most stunning beaches. I enjoyed them fullest. If you want to spend whole day in beaches then this is the place to cool you down.

Whenever I visit to my native family I don't miss my daily visits for sea shores in Mumbai. And love to spend time in beaches , in water and save those moments in memories forever..........

So this is my love for water which made me a good swimmer and collected so many precious and wonderful moments from my life.

And on daily basis the happiness that I get on being a swimmer is when I get into pool with my kids to reach them swimming and we cherish those moments.

Nice......so I know swimming and enjoyed all above places and moments is this what I want to convey.

The truth is I DON'T KNOW SWIMMING, and above are the moments which could have be mine. But I missed them all as I fear from water and don't know swimming.

A fear or phobia is something that snatches those things which we don't have but could have. And as we can not see what we could have ,we don't regret or feel bad for having those useless fears.

The most I feel bad when my daughter asks and wants me to join her in pool. And I say sorry dear as Mamma doesn't know swimming. I cant say that I fear from water. I can just watch them giggling, playing, laughing and splashing in pool. I want really to be with them.

Now I feel I should know swimming but can not spare time, Its a bit late. When I could give time I didn't realize.

Its not only about me or about swimming or about fear of water. Its about us and our weakness of being in useless fear which actually restrict us from out good moments. And good moments are always expensive in fact priceless. We have to overcome them before we miss everything from out we could have container.

I will soon overcome my fear and snatch all upcoming good moments from my 'good moments that I could have' container.

Tips to make your child miss and fall in love with school

Watching kids playing in garden, with a sip of tea in evening hours, with a breeze of pleasant wind took me in my childhood days. My school time, play time, home work , friends, TV time with so many dos and don'ts.

Do you remember your school days ........ Those days still refresh me. And brings smile on my face, even the scoldings and failures are like precious memories.

Seeing me smiling a voice knocked me, Mom why you smiling? It was my 4 years old daughter. I came out from my memories. I said just like that but why are you here ? She sat beside me and sadly responded that her friend has confirmed its their school going to open from next week. And she doesn't want to go. She loves being at home watching TV and playing with friends. Don't send me school... Please... !!!!!

I remember my mom scolding on such behavior of refusing to going for school. Many parents do this which is easy and to the point but such direct forcefull replies can make your child to nob for yes but can not bring a feel of going to school with will and wish of enjoying those school time.

I hugged her and said OK so you are not missing your school friends, got reply yes am missing them.

So we are not going for shopping of school barbie bag, barbie bottle, barbie and stationery. She got excited, off course I want all those barbie school items.

Hmm, Alright then you don't want to get stars from your teacher for the good work that you have done in homework. I want mom, the daughter replied.

Okkkk and what mom will do to the chips and juices which mom bring for you on your return from school. Mom I will have them all.

If I go to school then I will have all those things, right mom. Yeah, sure.

This is a small moment that I have shared with you which all parents must have been facing. No kids want to go to school after long vacations. We too were like them in our childhood, ask our mothers. :)

We love to be lazy and be in our cozy environment. Its all natural and they are kids only. So don't expect them to be logical and mature which we were also not at their age.

All we can do is to bring them out from their laziness by showing them really kiddish funny reasons which they can understand in their own ways....

++ Go for school related stuff shopping, no mafter if your child already has everything.
++ Ask them to contact their school buddies, so that they may feel to meet them personally.
++ Keep on asking about their school time happy moments to make them feel that they are waiting for you again to come.
++ Keep telling them about the good scores/achievements and the feeling they had during that moment.
++ Share your school days fun time with them.
++ Tell them the story of the guy who did not go to school and missed so much fun and studies.
++ Via stories make them to understand the importance of studies.
++ Use their cartoon characters to make them understand the right and wrong.
++ Involve them in taking decisions related to books and school by asking them for suggestions.
++ Encourage them to feel morning time by telling the beauty of morning rays and morning fresh air. To bring them back to routine.

We can make them to love their school which they will cherish always in their memories as some of the best days of their life.

Kids back to school after vacation

My kid is in nursery and now that summer vacation is almost over and school is right around the corner, it’s time to get the kids motivated and back into the school routine. Easier said than done, right? But it doesn’t have to be an uphill battle—just get the kids involved, and it can help ease them into back-to-school mode before the break is over.

Hot topic among parent is about holiday home work of kids. I am keen to get complete holiday homework of my son than him. Of course he is very small for it now. Oh I feel this age is the best as they don't have any responsibility and tension , though we always surrounded with it.

After weeks of school holidays and playing, it can be challenging for children to go back to school. In fact, at back to school time children may feel:
-stressed or anxiousi
-excited about seeing friends again
-enthused about getting new stationery or covering books
-sad or upset that holidays are now over
-pressured by what their teacher, parents or friends expect of them
-physically sick with stress, including headaches
-concerned about work load and keeping up with school work and curriculum.

Children of all ages have different experiences of going back to school , and parents should tune in to work out how their children are coping and what they are feeling.
For example, it’s not uncommon that children past the first year of school find it difficult to sleep the night before school returns after a holiday break.
It is also possible that some children worry about going back to school because they have been bullied and are concerned it might continue once school resumes.
Building your child’s sense of resilience can be one way to help them tackle any back to school challenges.
