To keep a healthy home,
the woman of the home must be in perfect health. But most of them don't pay
much attention to their fitness, unless they get a hit on their physical conditions.
It's
nature which has already given the required amount of immunity to prevent us from
most of the infections. Still, there are some diseases which require an
alarming prevention. Otherwise the illness caused by these may not only damage
the bodies but take lives.
For women one of the
most recurring disease which require extra prevention is a UTI. Urinary Tract
Infection is more prone in women. If not taken care, then leads to E.coli. And
the treatment of E.coli may take one to hospital admission for treatment.
E.coli can affect either
upper urinary tract or lower urinary tract. In upper urinary tract (UTI) infection
comes in kidney with high fever, shivering, rigor and unbearable pain in
kidney side. While lower urinary tract effects bladder with frequent urination,
burning and pain during short and frequent urination. If the pain and burning along with fever persist
even after lots of water intake then such women are hospitalized and given
very strong antibiotics.
Hospitalization with
high power antibiotics is never the end of such infection in most of the cases.
As it has a high tendency of recurrence or heading back to less immune system. Hence,
many women suffering from it for years.
To cure one has to take antibiotics,
but to prevent, proper immune system and hygiene are must.
If the E.coli bacteria
reaches to the bladder because of bad hygiene, then the chances of having an
infection increases. Which a very strong immune system or antibiotics can only cure.
For prevention:
1. Always drink lots of water or other liquids for required intake to keep hydrated body.
2. Cranberry juice,
which is also available in medical stores in capsules can be taken on a daily
basis. This juice is very helpful for preventing UTI as it makes a layer in the
bladder which avoid adherence of bacteria.
3. English commode is very dangerous
for women prone to this infection. As while washing or using shower to clean
faecal matter or stool, the stool may come in contact with exposed urethra.
Hence always wash from front to back.
4. If possible,
then keep and apply an antiseptic cream like Bernadine ointment at urethral.
So, if the bacteria entered urethra, then they can be killed before entering
the body.
5. In case the
bacteria still enter to bladder and woman feels some burning, irritating, etc. Better
take low power antiseptic with consultation of the doctor, proactively. So that
bacteria can be stopped from growth and killed then and there.
The above prevention on a daily basis is definitely going to help in leading a healthy womanhood life.
Stay healthy !
